I am a registered Dietitian and licensed in the state of Texas as well as an AFAA certified personal trainer. I am a member of the American Dietetic Association and Houston Eating Disorders Specialist. I have been working in the Long Term Care, with patients that exhibit malnutrition along with working with eating disorder clients, teaching them fun and safe ways to incorporate joyful movements in their everyday life. I have experience in an outpatient eating disorder facility prior to graduation where I really developed a true passion for combining my two passions of working with clients on both the food and movement aspects. I am passionate about helping individuals find the healthy balance between movement and food.
My therapeutic approach is to provide support and counseling to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I have special training and interest In working with trauma providing EMDR therapy as a helping aid. I utilize a strength-based, person centered approach with my clients in a warm and welcoming environment to promote a safe space for healing. Spending the majority of my 30s in education, my goal with children and teens is to help them with cope with unexpected twists and turns of life, maximize resilience and reach their highest potential . I enjoy working with individuals of all ages, backgrounds, abilities, and an LGBTQIA+ friendly.
